ใครบ้างที่มีความเสี่ยงต่อภาวะต่อมลูกหมากโต

– ผู้ชายอายุ 40 ปีขึ้นไป
– มีประวัติคนในครอบครัวเป็นต่อมลูกหมากโต (BPH)
– มีภาวะอ้วน ออกกำลังกายน้อย
– มีโรคประจำตัว เช่น เบาหวาน ความดันโลหิตสูง

ต่อมลูกหมากโตอาจจะไม่ได้ส่งผลร้ายต่อชีวิต แต่สามารถส่งผลกระทบต่อการทำงานของกระเพาะปัสสาวะและไต ซึ่งอาจส่งผลให้เกิดการติดเชื้อในระบบทางเดินปัสสาวะ นิ่วในไต หรือส่งผลกระทบต่อการทำงานของกระเพาะปัสสาวะได้
